Claire is the Project Manager for the UK side of the Move2Learn research project, managing the UK (Wellcome Trust) project budget, supporting the UK project team and contributing to M2L impact planning. Claire’s previous research focused on digital and mobile approaches to engagement and evaluation of cultural experience (www.artcasting.net and www.litlong.org).
Claire has sixteen years experience working in the cultural sector. Her professional background working to connect young people (in schools) with arts, creative and cultural activity directly influenced her doctoral study of cultural value in publicly funded (participatory) arts projects (completed at the University of Edinburgh in 2013). Claire has an MBA in Cultural Management (Queen Margaret University) and Masters degrees in Educational Research (University of Edinburgh) and Sociology (University of Aberdeen).
