Alexia is a doctoral student of Learning Sciences on the Move2Learn project based at the Centre for Digital Education, University of Edinburgh. She did her MSc in Human Cognitive Neuropsychology at the University of Edinburgh focusing on how social environments (competitive or cooperative) could influence children’s executive functions.
Her doctoral research project is about exploring the cognitive neurocorrelates that could influence embodied science learning and how scientific thinking develops in early childhood through interactive exhibits at science centres/museums.
