Molly Kelton is a PhD candidate in Mathematics Education at the University of California San Diego and San Diego State University. She holds B.A. and M.S. degrees in Mathematics from Vassar College and the University of Utah respectively. Previously she conducted original research in mathematical biology and statistical epidemiology. Her current research focuses on embodied learning in museum mathematics exhibitions, educational experiences that move across multiple formal and informal settings, and interdisciplinary learning environments that blend mathematics with art and science. She serves as co-Principal Investigator of the NSF-funded Informal Mathematics Collaborative.
